At Key Healthcare, we believe every teen deserves a chance to heal and grow. Founded in 2015 by a team inspired by their own treatment experiences, we set out with one goal: to change the story for teens and families affected by addiction and mental health issues. We offer a full spectrum of care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, transitional living, and aftercare for mental health and addiction. Each treatment program is designed to meet teens where they are, with a focus on long-term stability and emotional growth. Our expert team uses evidence-based therapies that go beyond treating symptoms. Our approach helps teens rebuild their confidence, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with a sense of purpose. Healing the present begins with understanding the past. At Key Healthcare, our comprehensive treatment approach addresses the full scope of a teen’s experience past, present, and future.

Our clinical process is straightforward and built on three core steps.

Once the past is addressed, we turn to the present. Together, we work on the challenges teens are facing right now and equip them with the tools to manage them.

The foundation of adolescent healing starts with confronting past trauma. Unresolved trauma disrupts emotional development, impairs relationships, affects academic performance, and increases the risk of long-term mental and physical health issues. Research shows that adolescents with unprocessed trauma are more likely to develop depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and family dysfunction. Our experience at Key Healthcare also shows that when past trauma is not addressed, teens often remain stuck in patterns of distress, unable to move forward in their healing.

At Key Healthcare we use a three-part clinical process that addresses the full scope of a teen’s journey. First, we help teens and families process past traumas and struggles with evidence-based trauma-informed therapies. Second, we focus on present challenges, teaching skills to regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and improve daily functioning. Finally, with clarity and stability in place, we guide teens toward building resilience, motivation, and inspiration for the future.

Our clinical approach combines individual therapy, group therapy, family work, and experiential programming. We use proven modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and family systems therapy to ensure treatment is comprehensive and effective. Clinical research shows that trauma-informed interventions improve emotional regulation, strengthen family functioning, and support long-term recovery. Trauma & PTSD

Teen trauma can deeply impact emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life. Our teen trauma and PTSD treatment program provides a safe, structured environment where adolescents can process their experiences and build healthy coping skills.

LGBTQ Counseling for Mental Health

At Key Healthcare, our LGBTQ program provides a safe, affirming space where adolescents can come to terms with their sexual orientation, explore their gender identity, learn from previous experiences, build resilience, and receive the compassionate mental health care they deserve. Our non-judgmental mental health professionals work hard to provide the affirming support these teenagers need.

Low Self Esteem

At Key Healthcare, we understand both how difficult it can be for both teens and parents to navigate these challenges and just how important it for parents to be aware of the signs of low self-esteem and talk to their teens. That’s why our specialized treatment programs are designed to help adolescents build lasting confidence, develop a healthy self-esteem, better thought patterns, and discover their true strengths.

Teen Treatment Programs

We help teens and families gain clarity around emotional and behavioral challenges through individualized care, therapeutic connection, and evidence-based treatment. Our program fosters family reunification, builds self-esteem, and equips adolescents with tools for lasting change.

Residential Treatment Program

Our teen residential treatment program lasts 45–60 days in a structured, supportive setting designed to promote healing and growth. Residential treatment programs provide comprehensive care through evidence-based therapy, life skills training, and integrated dual diagnosis care.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Our partial hospitalization program runs 6 hours a day, 5 days a week in a therapeutic setting. This higher level of care offers teens consistent support as they work through mental health and substance use challenges, helping them build structure, resilience, and healthy coping skills.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Our intensive outpatient program meets for 3-5 days per week at 3 hours per day. Teens receive structured and intensive care through individual, group, and family therapy while maintaining responsibilities at home and school. This flexible level of care supports continued progress without full-time treatment.

Virtual IOP

Virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) for teens delivers comprehensive mental health support online. Our master level clinicians provide therapy, skills training, and family involvement in a flexible format so adolescents can receive high-quality care while maintaining their school and home routines.
