Nick Lodato, LMFT
As Executive Director, Nick oversees the quality of care clients receive and focuses on improving their daily lives.
After receiving a BA in art history at the University of Colorado, Nick earned his Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University and completed an internship at Southern California Counseling Center. Before joining Key Healthcare three years ago as a primary therapist, Nick spent a handful of years working wearing a myriad of hats in dual diagnosis treatment centers (ARC and Refuge Recovery), where he ran groups, worked as lead tech, and managed cases. He also got his feet wet in the public school system as a therapist at Fairfax High School, in the heart of LA. Nick’s alternative approach to addiction treatment focuses on the root causes of addiction, rather than just substance abuse. Nick has a particular interest and a wealth of experience in issues related to trauma, and is trained in EMDR. As clinical director, Nick drives home the importance of meeting the adolescent where they are at, and tailoring the approach to each family’s individual needs and circumstances.
