Beverly Reader, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with 15 years of experience specializing in adolescent mental health and dual diagnosis treatment. She completed her residency at Georgetown University, where she developed a deep understanding of psychotherapy, integrating evidence-based clinical approaches with a holistic perspective. Dr. Reader has worked extensively with diverse populations, including establishing a psychiatric practice within a nonprofit mental health clinic for underserved communities, providing psychiatric care at the D.C. Jail, and running a private practice.
