Types of Patients
There are different types of teen treatment programs, and according to the treatment your teen needs, they can be categorized as follows:
Intensive Outpatient – Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured teen treatment program designed for teens aged 14-17 who have begun to struggle in their day-to-day lives due to Substance Abuse, Behavioral, Depression, Mental Health and emotional issues. Our Teen Rehab, Teen Drug Treatment and Rehab Aftercare Program for Teens has helped teens change their thinking process and habits with drugs. Our therapy covers a number of different substance abuse issues. Learn more about our Teen Mental Health Treatment and Teen Depression Treatment Programs. An IOP candidate is able to function at home and in the community but requires a treatment plan that is more comprehensive than weekly therapy. Our Teen IOP requires the adolescent to be in our structured environment 3 days per week.
Teen Partial Hospitalization Program – At the PHP for teens, the patient’s condition is somewhat critical, and he/she will spend five days per week in our sober structured environment, for eight hours per day.
Teen Sober Living – Key Housing is our structured teen sober living, transitional aftercare program for teen boys, ages 14-17, who have completed wilderness or primary treatment. The program allows for the freedom and warmth of their home environment while providing accountability and support for teens to implement the skills they’ve learned into their daily lives.
